I started to lose some motivation today. Not much sleep last night and the temptation to take it easy today was great. But I looked at this, dropped and pushed em out to get warm before going to the gym. The only easy day was yesterday.

Felt good warming up.
Flat Barbell Press - 6 sets of psuedo pyramid (135 x 6, 155 x 2, 145 x 3, 135 x 5, 125 x 8)
Wasn’t planning on benching today but one of the guys came by and I had already finished my workout. Went ahead and did it. Felt good.
Decline Dumbbell Press - 4 sets of 8 (35’s, 45’s)
Besides getting off the damn bench with the dumbbells (It’s a pain) went well. Stabilizing definitely takes some effort and concentration.
Incline Dumbbell Press - 4 sets of 8 (30’s, 35’s, 45’s)
Good old fashioned suffering
Barbell Preachers - 3 sets of 7-8 (75 lbs)
Wide & Close grip
Tricep Machine - 5 sets (60 lbs, 70 lbs, 80 lbs)

I literally couldn’t push through the pump on the last set. Felt like my arms were going to burst.

Incline Arnold Press - 4 sets of 8 (35’s)
These hurt today plus the random guy who is new there kept adjusting the bench I was using. Between each set he would wander over, either lower or raise it, and go off to do whatever. Eventually I asked him if I could finish my sets so he could have it. He apologized and went over to the other side of the gym. What the fuck?
Situps - 5 sets of 20
I’ve been trying to work on my core lately because it’s been slacking.
Standing Isolation Curls - 5 sets of 8 (25’s, 35’s)
Good way to finish off a pretty easy day.
Overall it was a good day. I’m going to have to train solo most of the week which is going to be interesting. Did squats for 3 hours with the crew yesterday. It’s going to be another month or two until I can run but the inflammation is gone. I know doing legs with a knee strain isn’t smart but I don’t really have a choice. Still a little tender. Maybe one of these days I’ll look like Kai.
